Risks and service providers

Last updated October 27, 2026. Draft for the Sandbox; final terms are signed before live money.

Each product is provided with licensed, regulated firms. Before your company starts a product with real money, the service terms you accept name every firm involved, what each one does, where your assets are held and the fees. In Sandbox, no partner agreement applies to your company.

01Bitcoin Income

Your Bitcoin stays in secure storage in your company's name, and you keep owning it. Against it, a licensed partner borrows a smaller amount of dollars and puts them into conservative income investments, such as short-term US government debt. What those dollars earn, after the borrowing cost and fees, is paid to you as income. If Bitcoin goes up, you still get all of the rise.

Main risk: If Bitcoin falls a lot and you do not top up, part of the Bitcoin you put to work is sold to repay what was borrowed against it.

  • Bitcoin price falls. The safety margin shrinks. You get a top-up alert, then an act-now alert. At the protection price, part of the Bitcoin you put to work is sold to repay the loan. Conservative starting margin, two early alerts, and clear next steps: add Bitcoin, take some money out, or let us step in.
  • Income investments underperform. Income is lower than expected. In a severe case the investments can lose value. Only institutional strategies such as short-term US government debt, chosen and watched by licensed managers.
  • Borrowing cost rises. Less income is left after the borrowing cost. We show the expected income after costs and update it every payout.
  • A partner fails. Getting money back can take longer. Bitcoin stays in an account in your company's name at a regulated storage company, separate from the partners' own money.
  • Rules change. A product may close for some countries. We check eligibility on our servers and tell you in advance.

Getting out: About 3 to 5 business days: the income investments are sold, the borrowed dollars are repaid, and your Bitcoin is released back to you.

02Dollar Reserve

Your stablecoins or dollars go into funds that hold short-term US government debt and similar cash investments. The fund units are held as tokens in your company's name, and the interest they earn is paid to you.

Main risk: Interest rates can fall, and in a market crisis a fund can delay paying money back; this is not a bank deposit and is not insured.

  • Rates fall. Income falls with US interest rates. Income is shown as a range and updated every payout.
  • Fund delays redemptions. Getting dollars back can take a few days in a crisis. Your plan keeps an amount always available outside the reserve.
  • Token or storage problem. Access can be delayed. Fund tokens sit in secure storage in your company's name.

Getting out: Usually the same or the next business day.

03Secure Storage

We open an account for your company with a regulated storage company. Your assets sit there in your company's name, and nothing moves without your approvers. You can connect storage you already have instead.

Main risk: Storage protects against loss and theft but not against price moves: Bitcoin's value still goes up and down.

  • Price moves. The value of what you store changes with the market. Live value on your dashboard.

Getting out: Any time, after your approvers sign off.

04General

Expected income is never promised. Digital assets can lose value. Assets held through a product are not bank deposits and are not covered by deposit insurance. This is not investment, legal or tax advice.
